Cambria is a small place in Indiana, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Owen Township in Clinton County.
The Story of Cambria
Cambria began as a stop along the Monon Railroad. This railroad was built through the southwestern part of Owen Township. The name "Cambria" comes from an old name for Wales, a country in the United Kingdom. A post office opened in Cambria in 1883. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. However, it closed down in 1915.
