Professional Football Career
Cameron Gordon played college football for the University of Michigan. He was a talented player there.
Playing for the Patriots
After the 2014 NFL draft, Cameron Gordon joined the New England Patriots on May 12, 2014. He signed as an undrafted free agent. This means a team picked him up even though he wasn't chosen in the main draft. Later that year, he was placed on the team's injured reserve list. This meant he couldn't play because of an injury.
Cameron Gordon and the Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX! This is a huge championship game in American football. They beat the defending champion Seattle Seahawks with a score of 28 to 24. On August 27, 2015, the Patriots decided to release Cameron Gordon from their team. This is called being 'waived'.
