Where the Camesa River Starts and Flows
The Camesa River begins its journey in the province of Palencia, specifically in a place called Brañosera. From there, it flows for a short distance through the region of Cantabria. In Cantabria, the river is so important that a special natural area is named after it!
After leaving Cantabria, the Camesa River passes by the village of Mataporquera. Then, it makes its way back into the Palencia province. Near the town of Aguilar de Campoo, the Camesa River finally meets and joins the larger Pisuerga River.
