Camila de Queiroz Toledo, born on June 27, 1993, is a talented Brazilian actress and model. She became well-known for her role as Angel in the TV show Verdades Secretas. This show even won an International Emmy Award.

Camila Queiroz was born in Ribeirão Preto, a city in São Paulo, Brazil. She grew up in a family where her mother worked as a manicurist and her father was a carpenter. Camila is the middle child, with an older sister named Caroline and a younger sister named Melina.

Camila's Career

Starting as a Model

When Camila was 14, she moved to São Paulo by herself. She had won a national contest called Pernambucanas Faces. This led her to sign a contract with Ford Models. At 16, she lived in Japan and worked with a local modeling agency. By the age of 18, Camila moved to New York City to continue her modeling career. There, she took part in big international campaigns, including for the Armani Exchange brand.

Becoming an Actress

Camila lived in the United States for three years. When she was 21, she got an invitation to try out for a TV show. This show was a telenovela called Verdades Secretas, created by Walcyr Carrasco. Camila was chosen to play the main character, Angel, whose real name was Arlete. Angel was a young girl who dreamed of becoming a successful model.

This was Camila's very first acting role. Viewers and critics really liked her performance. She won many awards for playing Angel. Camila also started hosting a TV special called Festeja Brasil with Márcio Garcia.

In 2016, Camila worked with Walcyr Carrasco again. She played the character Mafalda in the show Êta Mundo Bom!. In this story, her character was part of a love story with several other characters. In 2017, she starred in Pega Pega, a romantic comedy.

Since 2022, Camila has been playing the older Anita in the Brazilian show Back to 15. She stars alongside Maisa in this series.

Camila's Personal Life

In August 2016, Camila started dating actor Klebber Toledo. They began their relationship during a trip to Bariloche, Argentina. In June 2017, they got engaged. Camila and Klebber were married in August 2018. Their wedding was a religious ceremony held at the Essenza Hotel in Jericoacoara, Ceará, Brazil.
