Discovering Canada South Science City

Canada South Science City is located in a historic part of Windsor called Sandwich Town. You can find it on the city's west side, inside the building that used to be the J.L. Forster Secondary School. This building is now known as the Forster Community Hub.

The main building of Canada South Science City had many cool areas for visitors to discover. These areas were designed to make learning about science exciting and easy to understand.

• Biodiversity Exhibit: This section helped you learn about all the different kinds of life on Earth, from tiny insects to huge animals. It showed how important it is to protect our planet's variety of plants and animals.

How the Science City Was Run

Canada South Science City started with money from the City of Windsor. It is a non-profit organization, which means it doesn't aim to make money for owners. Instead, any money it earns goes back into running the center and creating new exhibits. A group of volunteer directors helps manage the Science City. These volunteers are people who give their time and effort without being paid, simply because they believe in the center's mission to teach science.
