Candy Flurry is a fun Japanese comic series called a manga. It was written by Ippon Takegushi and drawn by Santa Mitarashi. What is Candy Flurry About?
Candy Flurry is an exciting and funny story about battles involving sweets! The main character is a girl named Tsumugi Minase. She has a special power thanks to something called "Toy Toy Candy." When she eats this candy, she can use a lollipop as a powerful weapon!
But there's a big secret. Five years ago, the same kind of lollipop candy caused a lot of damage to the city of Tokyo. Because of this, Tsumugi has to keep her amazing candy power a secret from everyone. She can't let anyone know what she can do!
How Candy Flurry Was Made
The story of Candy Flurry was created by Ippon Takegushi. The cool drawings were done by Santa Mitarashi. The series appeared in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. It ran from April 19 to September 13, 2021.
Later, all the chapters were collected into three tankōbon volumes. These books were released by Shueisha. The first book came out on August 4, 2021. The second was released on October 4, 2021. The final book came out on December 3, 2021.
People in North America could also read Candy Flurry at the same time it was released in Japan. This was possible because Shueisha offered the digital chapters in English on their Manga Plus service. Viz Media also made the chapters available on their own service.
