Canoe Lake is a cool lake located in the Thunder Bay District of Ontario, Canada. It's found about 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) west of a place called Savant Lake.
About Canoe Lake
Canoe Lake has a unique shape, looking a bit like a backwards letter "C". Its curved length stretches for about 5.7 kilometers (3.5 miles).
Water Flow
The main stream that flows into Canoe Lake is called Barnard Creek. This creek enters the lake at its northwest corner. Barnard Creek is also the main stream that flows out of the lake, leaving from the southwest corner. This creek eventually joins the Sturgeon River.
Nearby Features
You might spot the Canadian National Railway's main train line if you visit Canoe Lake. This important railway travels right along the northern side of the lake.
