Cantagallo is a town and municipality in northern Colombia. It is located in the Bolívar Department. This town is the southernmost part of its province.
Cantagallo was founded on January 1, 1938. It officially became a municipality on December 16, 1994.
Understanding Cantagallo's Climate
Cantagallo has a tropical monsoon climate. This means it is generally hot all year round. The weather has distinct wet and dry seasons.
From December to March, the area gets moderate to little rain. This is the drier part of the year. From April to November, there is heavy rainfall. This period is the very rainy season.
