Winning the UEFA Cup and Super Cup
With Galatasaray, Capone achieved something amazing. In the 1999–2000 season, they won the UEFA Cup. This is a huge European competition. They beat Arsenal in the final! Right after that, they also won the UEFA Super Cup in 2000. This meant they were the best team in Europe at that moment. Capone also helped Galatasaray win the Turkish Super League twice, in 1999–2000 and 2001–02.
Back to Brazil and Later Years
After his time in Turkey, Capone returned to Brazil. He played for other well-known clubs like Corinthians. With Corinthians, he won the Campeonato Paulista in 2003. He also played for Atlético Paranaense and Grêmio.
Later in his career, he also played for teams like Beitar Jerusalem in Israel. He continued to play football until 2010. After retiring as a player, he even tried his hand at managing a team called Força in 2009.
