Carina Lilly Berg (born 11 November 1977) is a famous Swedish comedian and TV presenter. She grew up in Åkersberga. Carina studied radio after high school. She started her career in radio, then moved to television. She won an award in 2015 for "Best female television presenter" with Christine Meltzer.

Carina's Journey in Media

Starting in Radio

Carina Berg began her media journey in radio. After her studies, she worked at a local radio station in Västernorrland. Later, she hosted "Morgonpasset" for Sveriges Radio P3. This was from 2003 to 2005. She also helped out on the radio show "Lantz i P3".

In 2008 and 2009, she worked for Mix Megapol. She hosted the show "Äntligen helg med Breitholtz och Berg". From 2010 to 2011, she created podcasts with Daniel Breitholtz. She also had a podcast called "Strömstedt & Berg" with Jenny Strömstedt.

Moving to TV

Carina first appeared on TV in 2004. She was a reporter for "CP-magasinet" on SVT. In 2005, she made her official TV debut. She co-hosted "God natt, Sverige" on TV4. In 2006, she presented the comedy show "Lilla vi (tar stor plats...)".

In 2007, Carina hosted "Förkväll" on TV4. Later that year, she co-hosted "Idol 2007" with Carolina Gynning. They presented the audition parts of the show. In 2008, the duo hosted "Stjärnor på is". That same year, she was named "Best female television presenter". This was decided by fourteen TV bosses for the newspaper Aftonbladet.

In 2009, Carina hosted "Snillen snackar" on Kanal5. She also had a popular show called "Berg flyttar in". For five seasons, she moved into different celebrities' homes. The show aired from 2008 to 2012.

After "Berg flyttar in", Carina started working full-time for Kanal5. In 2012, she hosted "The Voice". In 2013, she presented her talk show "Bergs bärbara talkshow". In 2014, she and Christine Meltzer hosted "Berg & Meltzer i Amerika". They traveled across the USA for two months. The show was so popular it got a second season in 2015. In the second season, they explored different European countries.

From 2019 to 2020, Carina and her husband, footballer Erik Berg, starred in the reality show "Bergs drömkåk". This show was also on Kanal5. In 2024, Carina hosted Melodifestivalen 2024. This is the Swedish show that picks the song for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Carina's Family Life

Carina Berg married fellow TV presenter Kristian Luuk in 2008. They later divorced in 2017. They have one son together. In 2018, Carina married footballer Erik Berg. They have two children together: a son born in December 2019 and a daughter born in March 2021.
