He starred in many popular telenovelas. Some of his most famous shows include La dama de rosa (1986) and Señora (1988). Besides acting, Carlos Mata is also a talented singer. His album "Que por que te quiero" was very popular in 1985. It stayed on the Billboard charts for four months! He even performed with other big stars like Celia Cruz and Julio Iglesias.
