Carlos Alberto Menditéguy (born August 10, 1914 – died April 27, 1973) was a talented sportsman from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was famous for being both a professional racing driver and a top-level polo player.

Carlos competed in 11 Formula One World Championship races. He achieved one podium finish, which means he placed in the top three in a race. Overall, he scored nine championship points during his Formula One career.

Beyond racing, Carlos was an amazing polo player. He reached the highest possible handicap in polo, which is 10. This shows he was one of the best polo players in the world. He was also a very good golfer. He became a "scratch" golf player (meaning he could play a round of golf at par or better) in less than two years! He did this after making a bet with some friends.

Carlos Menditéguy was buried in La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires.

This was his only podium finish in the Formula One World Championship. He also scored points by finishing fifth in the 1955 Italian Grand Prix and fourth in the 1960 Argentine Grand Prix.

Carlos was known for his exciting driving style. He often raced in his home country, Argentina, where he had many fans. His last Formula One race was the 1960 Argentine Grand Prix.
