Carlos González Peña (born on July 28, 1983) is a Spanish football expert. He used to be a professional player who played as a left-back. Now, he is a football manager. He is currently the head coach for the Liga 1 (Indonesia) club Persita Tangerang.
Carlos played in 322 matches in Spain's Segunda División (second division) and scored four goals. He played for six different clubs in this league. He also played 54 games in La Liga (Spain's top league) for Valladolid, scoring one goal. Later in his career, he played professionally in India.

Carlos Peña's Playing Career
Carlos Peña was born in Salamanca, Spain. He started his football journey in the youth teams of FC Barcelona. He played for their "C" and "B" teams for five years.
Playing for Spanish Clubs
After leaving Barcelona, Carlos became a professional player with Albacete Balompié. He played in 106 official matches for them over three seasons in the Segunda División.
For the 2009–10 season, Carlos joined Recreativo de Huelva. He was a key player there. After one season, he moved to Real Valladolid, a team that had just been relegated from La Liga.
In his second year with Valladolid (2011–12), Carlos played 35 games and scored one goal. He helped his team get promoted back to the top league, La Liga. He played his first game in La Liga on August 27, 2012.
Carlos scored his only goal in La Liga on May 11, 2014. However, he also accidentally scored an own goal in the same match. Valladolid was relegated from La Liga that season. On June 25, 2015, he signed a two-year contract with Real Oviedo, a team that had just been promoted to the second division.
