Carlos Enrique Saucedo Urgel, known simply as Carlos Saucedo, is a former professional footballer from Bolivia. He was born on September 11, 1979. Carlos played as a striker, which means he was a player whose main job was to score goals for his team.

Playing for Clubs
Carlos Saucedo spent most of his football career playing for different teams in Bolivia. Some of these teams include Oriente Petrolero, Bolívar, Blooming, and The Strongest. He also played for teams in other countries.
He played for Deportivo Quito in Ecuador and Independiente Medellín in Colombia. Carlos also played for Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica. He was known for scoring many goals throughout his career.

On April 14, 2019, Carlos Saucedo scored four goals in one game. This helped his team, San José, win 6–2 against Club Always Ready. He was 39 years and 215 days old when he achieved this.
Scoring four goals in a single game is called a "poker-trick" in football. Carlos became one of the oldest players ever to score a poker-trick. Only two other players, Pablo Escobar and Josef Bican, were older when they did it.
Carlos Saucedo was also one of the top goal scorers in South America. He scored 277 goals in top football leagues during the 21st century. This made him the second-highest scoring Bolivian player, right after José Alfredo Castillo.

Carlos Saucedo also played for the Bolivia national team. His first game for Bolivia was on August 22, 2007. He came into the game as a substitute against Ecuador.
On October 13, 2020, Carlos played for Bolivia against Argentina. He was 41 years and 2 days old at the time. This made him the oldest player ever to play for the Bolivian national team. He broke the record previously held by goalkeeper Daniel Vaca.
