Caroline Chikezie (born 19 February 1974) is a talented British Nigerian actress. She is well-known for her roles as Sasha Williams in the TV show As If and Elaine Hardy in Footballers' Wives. In 2016, she also became very popular in Nigeria for playing the main character in the series The Governor.

Her Early Life and Family

Caroline Chikezie was born in England. Her parents were from Nigeria and belonged to the Igbo group. When she was fourteen, her parents sent her to a boarding school in Nigeria. They hoped this would make her change her mind about becoming an actress. Before that, she had already started taking acting classes on weekends at Italia Conti.

Her Education Journey

Caroline first went to Brunel University to study Medicinal Chemistry. Her family hoped she would take over her father's hospital in Nigeria. However, she decided to leave that course. Later, she won a special scholarship to study acting at the UK's Academy of Live and Recorded Arts. This helped her follow her dream of becoming an actress.

Starting Out in Television

Caroline Chikezie began her acting career with roles in popular TV shows like Holby City and Casualty. She also appeared in the British film Babymother.

Her first big role came in 2001. She played Sasha Williams in the TV series As If. In 2004, she joined the cast of Footballers' Wives as Elaine Hardy, who was the girlfriend of a character named Kyle Pascoe.

Caroline has appeared in many other television projects. These include shows like 40, Judas Kiss, Free Fall, and Brothers and Sisters.

She played Lisa Hallett in an episode of Torchwood. Her character was part-human and part-Cyberman. She also appeared as Tamara, a demon hunter, in the third season of Supernatural. In 2018, she had a recurring role as Queen Tamlin of Leah in the second season of Shannara Chronicles.
