Casillas is a town and a municipality in Guatemala. It is located in the Santa Rosa department. Casillas is the main town for the area around it.
In 2018, about 7,698 people lived in the town. The main language spoken here is Spanish.
Some small villages near Casillas include El Jute, Minas, Guadalupe, Chapas, San Juan Tapalapa, and El Palmar. The closest larger town is Nueva Santa Rosa.
Most people in Casillas are Roman Catholic. Every year, from January 12 to January 16, the town celebrates a big festival. This festival honors the "Cristo Negro" (Black Christ). During the fair, there are many fun activities like dances, a rodeo, and carnival rides.
