From July 24, 2015, to February 2, 2017, Cassandra De Pecol traveled to every single sovereign nation in the world. This means she visited all 196 countries recognized as independent states! It was a huge adventure that took her just over a year and a half.

Setting World Records

In 2017, Cassandra achieved two Guinness World Records. She was recognized for the "Fastest time to visit all sovereign countries" and also for the "Fastest time to visit all sovereign countries - Female." Her incredible speed in visiting so many places made her a record holder. However, in 2019, another traveler named Taylor Demonbreun broke both of these records.

Spreading a Message

During her travels, Cassandra didn't just visit places. She also spoke to more than 16,000 university students in 40 different countries. She acted as an ambassador for peace, working with groups like the International Institute of Peace Through Tourism.
