The Almogàvers Name
The name Almogàvers comes from a group of brave soldiers. These soldiers were important in the history of Catalonia and the Kingdom of Aragon. During the Middle Ages, they were strong infantry troops. They helped the Crown of Aragon become powerful in the Mediterranean Sea.
Why "Blaus" (Blues)?
The word Blaus means "blues" in Catalan. The team was called this because of the color of their jerseys. Many other sports teams around the world also use "Blues" in their name. Examples include the Cardiff Blues and the Auckland Blues.

Reaching the Semifinals
The Blaus Almogàvers finished fourth in the league. This allowed them to reach the semifinals. In the semifinals, they played against La Vila Mariners. They tried their best but were not able to win this match. This meant they didn't make it to the final game.
The Third Place Match
After the semifinals, they played a match for third place. They faced the Basque Korsarioak again. Unfortunately, they lost this game too. So, the Catalunya Blaus Almogàvers finished in fourth place in the first season of the Liga Superibérica.
