Understanding Catamayo's Climate
The climate of a place tells us about its usual weather patterns. This includes how hot or cold it gets and how much rain falls. Catamayo has a special kind of climate called a hot semi-arid climate. This means it's generally warm all year round, but it doesn't get a lot of rain.
Temperatures in Catamayo
In Catamayo, the temperatures stay pretty warm throughout the year. The average high temperature is usually around 30 to 32 degrees Celsius (86 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit). Even at night, it stays mild, with average low temperatures around 16 to 17 degrees Celsius (61 to 63 degrees Fahrenheit). This makes Catamayo a place with a consistent warm climate.
Rainfall and Humidity
Catamayo doesn't get a lot of rain, especially during the middle of the year. The wettest months are usually February and March, but even then, the rainfall isn't very heavy. From July to August, it's very dry. The air can feel quite humid, especially in the wetter months, but it gets less humid during the drier parts of the year.
