Her Early Life
Catt Sadler was born in a town called Martinsville, Indiana.
Starting Her Career
Even before she finished college, Catt Sadler started her TV career. She was hired by WXIN, a TV station in Indianapolis. There, she hosted a weekly show called "Youth Matters". She also hosted a dance show called "The Groove".
After working in local news for about a year, she moved to California. She wanted to work in bigger TV markets. In 1997, she got her first job as an entertainment reporter in San Francisco. She hosted a nightly show called "The Bay Beat". For four years, she traveled often to interview famous people.
Working in TV News
In 2001, Catt moved back to Indiana. She returned to WXIN to co-host the morning news. She also hosted the Hoosier Millionaire show. This was a popular lottery game show. During this time, she was also the official host for the NBA team, the Indiana Pacers.
In 2006, Catt and her family moved back to Los Angeles. She became a host for The Daily 10 on E! TV. She worked alongside Sal Masekela and Debbie Matenopoulos.
In 2010, Catt Sadler joined the longer E! News show. She worked with Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic. She also hosted many E! Live from the Red Carpet events. She covered big awards shows like the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes.
In May 2017, E! News started a new daytime talk show called Daily Pop. Catt Sadler was one of the three hosts for this show.
Other Projects
Catt Sadler also acted in some TV shows and movies. She played herself in the movie Knocked Up. She also appeared on General Hospital and Night Shift. She was in a music video for the band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. The song was called "You Better Pray".
Today, Catt owns her own company called Love Bug Entertainment. She hosts a popular weekly podcast called "It Sure is a Beautiful Day". Many famous people have been guests on her podcast.
Catt also regularly hosts the Vanity Fair Oscars Red Carpet Show. She has done this in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022.
Standing Up for Fair Pay
In December 2017, Catt Sadler decided to leave E! News. She learned that her male co-host was earning much more money than her. She felt it was important to speak up for equal pay.
Helping Others
Catt Sadler is a spokesperson for the Women Like Us Foundation. Her mother helped create this organization. In 2010, Catt started a local chapter of the group in Hollywood. This group helps women in many ways.
