Catt Sadler was born on August 24, 1974. She is an American entertainment reporter. She is well-known for her work on TV shows like E! News, E! News Weekend, and Daily Pop. Before that, she was a co-host for The Daily 10.

Early Life and Beginnings

Catt Sadler grew up in Martinsville, Indiana. Even before she finished college, she started her career in TV. She was hired by WXIN, a Fox TV station in Indianapolis. There, she hosted a weekly show called "Youth Matters." She also hosted a dance show called "The Groove."

After working in local news for about a year, Catt moved to California. She wanted to further her career in television.

First Steps in Entertainment News

In 1997, Catt Sadler got her first job as an entertainment reporter in San Francisco. She worked for KBWB/KNTV in San Jose, California. For four years, she hosted a nightly show called "The Bay Beat." This job allowed her to travel to Los Angeles and New York. She interviewed many famous people during this time.

In 2001, Catt moved back to Indiana. She returned to WXIN to co-host the morning news. She also hosted the Hoosier Millionaire show for the Hoosier Lottery. This show became the longest-running lottery game show in the country. During this time, she was also the official announcer for the NBA's Indiana Pacers basketball team for the 2003–04 season.

Moving to E! News

In 2006, Catt Sadler and her family moved back to Los Angeles. She became a host for The Daily 10 on E! TV. She hosted the show with Sal Masekela and Debbie Matenopoulos.

Acting Roles and Red Carpet Events

While in Los Angeles, Catt Sadler also did some acting. She played herself in the movie Knocked Up. She also appeared on TV shows like General Hospital and Night Shift. She was even in a music video for the band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. In the video for "You Better Pray," she played a dancing librarian.

In 2010, Catt joined the longer E! News show. She worked alongside Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic. She also hosted many of E!'s Live from the Red Carpet events. She covered major awards shows like the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Emmys.

In May 2017, E! News started a new daytime talk show called Daily Pop. Catt Sadler was one of the three hosts for this show.

Leaving E! News

In December 2017, Catt Sadler decided to leave E! News. She learned that her male co-host, Jason Kennedy, was earning much more money than she was for the same job. She felt this was unfair and decided to leave.

Current Work and Projects

Today, Catt Sadler owns her own production company called Love Bug Entertainment. She hosts a weekly podcast called "It Sure is a Beautiful Day." This podcast is made with Dear Media.

Family Life

Catt Sadler married her college boyfriend, Kyle Boyd, in 2001. They had two sons named Austin (born in 2001) and Arion (born in 2005). They later divorced.

Catt then met British film producer Rhys David Thomas in May 2010. They got married on October 23, 2011, in Las Vegas. In March 2016, Catt Sadler filed for divorce from Thomas.

In July 2021, Catt Sadler shared that she got sick with a virus, even though she had been vaccinated. She experienced strong symptoms from the illness.
