Caumont-l'Éventé was a small town, also known as a commune, located in northwestern France. It was part of the Calvados department, which is like a county. This charming place was known for its quiet, rural setting.
On January 1, 2017, Caumont-l'Éventé joined with other nearby towns to form a new, larger commune called Caumont-sur-Aure. This means it is no longer a separate commune on its own.
