Where is Cea Located?
Cea is found in the northwestern part of Spain. It is part of the larger region called Castile and León. The town sits in the province of León. It is about 836 meters (2,743 feet) above sea level. This means it is quite high up.
A Look at Cea's History
Cea has a very interesting past. Long ago, a community of Sephardic Jewish people lived here. They were first mentioned in records around the year 1110. Many of these people worked in farming. They helped the town grow. In 1492, this community moved away from Cea. They went to live in other places.
