How Cecil Has Grown
Since the 1990s, Cecil has changed a lot. What used to be farmland has become new neighborhoods. Many houses and developments have been built. This growth happened for a couple of reasons.
One reason is the development of the Southpointe business park nearby. This park created many jobs. Another reason is that Cecil Township has become a popular place to live. It's a suburb of Pittsburgh, a much larger city. This means many people who work in Pittsburgh choose to live in quieter places like Cecil.
