Cecil Edward Cole (born September 23, 1919 – died June 20, 2002) was an American baseball pitcher. He played in the Negro leagues during the 1940s.

Cecil Cole was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. He grew up there and went to Connellsville High School, graduating in 1937.
Serving His Country
Before he became a professional baseball player, Cecil Cole served in the U.S. Army. He was a soldier during World War II. This was a very important time in history.
Playing Professional Baseball
After his time in the Army, Cole became a professional baseball player. He joined the Newark Eagles in 1946. This was a special year for the Eagles! They won the 1946 Negro World Series championship. Cecil Cole was a part of that winning team.
