Ceguaca (pronounced se-GWAH-kah) is a small town in Honduras. It is a type of local government area called a municipality. Ceguaca is located in the department of Santa Bárbara.
Who Lives in Ceguaca?
In 2013, a survey counted the people living in Ceguaca. There were 4,948 people in total. Most of the people were Mestizo, which means they have mixed European and Indigenous backgrounds. A large number of people were also identified as White. Smaller groups included Black or Afro-Honduran people and Indigenous people, mainly from the Lenca group.
