The Centro de Comercio Internacional is a very tall office building, also known as a skyscraper, located in Bogotá, Colombia. It stands at 190 meters (623 feet) and has 50 floors! This impressive building is a neighbor to another famous skyscraper in Colombia, the Torre Colpatria.
Inside the Centro de Comercio Internacional, you'll find offices for Davivienda Bank, which recently became the owner of the building. When it was first built, it had a different name: Centro Las Americas.
What Makes This Building Special?
The Centro de Comercio Internacional is located at 28th Street # 13A - 15. It has 17 elevators to help people move quickly between its many floors. The outside of the building is mostly made of shiny glass panels. On its sides, you can see a single vertical line of windows.
Right in front of the main entrance, there's a large open space. This building is still in use today and is one of the tallest buildings in Bogotá. When it was finished in 1977, it was actually the tallest building in all of Latin America! It held this record until the Colpatria Tower was built.
