Cerro de la Campana means Bell Hill. It is a famous rocky hill and a special symbol of the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, in Mexico. This place is a fantastic spot for visitors. From the top of the hill, you can see an almost complete view of Hermosillo, also known as the "City of the Sun." It became an official viewpoint for the city in 1909.

Why is it Called Bell Hill?
The hill gets its name from its shape. When you look at it from the west, it looks a lot like a bell. Some people also believe the name comes from the sound. They say that when rocks hit the hill, they make a sound similar to a bell ringing!

Cerro de la Campana is located right in the center of Hermosillo. You can easily get to the viewpoint at the top of the hill. Just follow Cucurpe street from the bottom of the hill. The viewpoint is in an area also called Cerro de la Campana.
