Chadrack Lufile, born on September 11, 1990, is a professional basketball player from Congo and Canada. He recently played for the ABC Fighters team. He also plays for the Democratic Republic of Congo's national team.

Early Life and Basketball Start

Chadrack was born in Zaire (now called the Democratic Republic of Congo). When he was three, his family moved to Texas. At age seven, they moved to Canada. Chadrack first loved playing soccer.

He started learning basketball in high school at Assumption Catholic Secondary School in Burlington, Ontario. He quickly became a top player. In his final year of high school, he scored about 20 points per game. He even scored 33 points in one game!

College Basketball Journey

Chadrack went to Coffeyville Community College for two years. In his second year there, he scored about 11.6 points and grabbed 8.4 rebounds per game.

After that, Chadrack played for two seasons at Wichita State University. In 2013, his team made it to the "Final Four" of the NCAA Tournament. This is a very big deal in college basketball! He helped his team by scoring points and getting rebounds.

In December 2013, Chadrack had a great game against Saint Louis. He scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds. A week later, he scored a career-high 14 points against Oral Roberts. In his final year at Wichita State, he started 11 games and played in all 36 games. He averaged 5.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

Professional Basketball Career

In 2014, Chadrack was chosen in the NBA Development League draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce. This was his first step into professional basketball.

The next season, he played in Chile for a team called Puerto Montt. From 2016 to 2017, he played for the Cape Breton Highlanders in Canada. He averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game for them.

In 2018, Chadrack faced a tough time. A fan from Wichita State helped him out by donating money so he wouldn't have to sell his special "Final Four" ring. This shows how much support he had from his fans!

Later in 2018, Chadrack signed with the St. John's Edge team. After a few games, he joined the Halifax Hurricanes. In his first game starting for the Hurricanes, he scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
