Chai Point was started in 2010 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The person who founded it is named Amuleek Singh.

Amuleek Singh is the founder and current CEO of Chai Point. He went to Harvard University for his business degree. Before that, he studied engineering at Thapar University in India. He even worked for Microsoft for a while. After finishing his studies, he wanted to create his own business.
Why Chai Point Was Created
In India, tea, or "Chai" as it's called in Hindi, is a very important drink in most homes. People know many different kinds of tea. Amuleek Singh saw that many people were going to fancy coffee shops. He wanted to make tea just as appealing. He created a way to make and package tea that would attract people who liked modern coffee places.
