Chanté Sherese Sandiford (born on January 8, 1990) is a talented footballer. She plays as a goalkeeper for the Icelandic club Selfoss. Chanté also leads the Guyana national team as their captain.
She has played in big European competitions like the UEFA Women's Champions League. She did this with clubs such as FC Zorky Krasnogorsk from Russia and Avaldsnes IL from Norway. Even though she was born in the United States, she proudly represents Guyana in international games.

Chanté's Football Journey
Chanté's journey in football started in college. She first played for Villanova and then moved to UCLA. After a tough injury, she worked hard to recover. Six months later, she joined the New Jersey Wildcats team.
She played for Haukar for two seasons. Then, in early 2021, she joined Stjarnan, which is a top club in Iceland's Úrvalsdeild kvenna league.
In 2023, Chanté also worked as part of the coaching team for Grindavík. In August 2024, she signed with Þróttur Reykjavík to help out as a reserve goalkeeper when the team had many injuries.
In February 2025, Chanté Sandiford made another move. She signed with Selfoss, where she plays now.
Playing for Her Country
Chanté Sandiford has played many games for the Guyana national team. She is a key player for her country on the international stage.
Life Outside Football
Besides being a professional footballer, Chanté Sandiford is also a personal trainer. She even created an app to help people reach their fitness goals. Her app focuses on fitness while following a vegan diet.
