Charles Lane (born Charles Gerstle Levison; January 26, 1905 – July 9, 2007) was an American character actor. His career has spanned for 64 years. Lane retired from acting at the age of 90. Lane is known for his roles in You Can't Take It With You (1938), Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939), Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) and It's a Wonderful Life (1946). Lane was born in San Francisco, California.

Lane died in Santa Monica, California from natural causes, aged 102.
