His Family's Story

A famous harp player named Arthur O'Neill wrote about Bishop Warburton's family. O'Neill knew Bishop Warburton's father, Dominic Mungan, who was a blind harpist.

Dominic Mungan had three sons: Mark, John, and Terence (who became Bishop Warburton). Mark studied to be a priest in France. John became a doctor. Terence, the youngest, became the Bishop of Limerick.

Both John and Terence changed their religion from Catholic to Protestant. This was a personal choice for them.

Bishop Warburton passed away on August 9, 1826, when he was 72 years old.
