Charlie Beech was born on July 21, 1987, in Stevenage, England. He is a professional rugby union player. He plays for Coventry R.F.C. in the RFU Championship. His position on the field is called a 'prop'. A prop is a player in the front row of the scrum, known for their strength.

Charlie's Early Rugby Career

Charlie started playing rugby at a young age. He joined the academy of Northampton Saints in 2003. An academy is like a special training program for young, talented players.

First Senior Game

Charlie played his first game for the senior Northampton Saints team in the 2005-06 season. This was in a European Challenge Cup match against Rugby Viadana.

Moving to Wasps

After Northampton Saints moved down a league in 2007, Charlie signed with London Wasps.

Debut for Wasps

Charlie's first official game for Wasps was against London Irish. This was a big win for Wasps in the 2007–08 season. He scored a try (which is like a touchdown in American football) against the Newcastle Falcons about a year later. In April 2009, Charlie signed a new contract with Wasps.

Playing for Bath and Yorkshire

On March 8, 2011, it was announced that Charlie would join Bath Rugby on a three-year deal.

Loan to Yorkshire Carnegie

In October 2013, Charlie went to play for Yorkshire Carnegie on a temporary loan. This loan was for the rest of the 2013–14 season. Later, he signed a permanent deal with Yorkshire Carnegie, which meant he officially left Bath.

Joining Coventry

On April 8, 2018, Charlie left Leeds (where Yorkshire Carnegie is based) to join Coventry. Coventry is another team in the same league, the RFU Championship. He continues to play for Coventry R.F.C. today.

International Appearances

Charlie also had the chance to play for England's national rugby teams when he was younger.

Under-19 World Championship

In 2006, he represented England at the Under-19 World Championship. This is a big tournament for young players from around the world.

Six Nations Tournament

In 2007, Charlie played for the England under-20 team in the Six Nations tournament. This is a famous annual rugby competition involving six European teams.
