The Charlotte Eagles are a soccer team from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. They started playing in 1991. The team is part of USL League Two, which is a top league for amateur soccer in the United States.

The Eagles play their home games at the Sportsplex at Matthews. Their team colors are orange, white, and blue.

The Eagles' Story

The Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club began in 1991. They became a professional team in 1993 when they joined the USISL league. For a short time, the Eagles played in the A-League. However, due to money problems, they later returned to a lower league.

The Eagles are part of an organization called Missionary Athletes International (MAI). This group uses soccer to share messages about Christianity. The Charlotte Eagles also have a sister team, the Southern California Seahorses. Plus, there is a women's team called the Charlotte Lady Eagles, which plays in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
