Chase is a small town located in Oconto County, Wisconsin. In the year 2000, about 2,082 people lived here. You can find a few smaller communities within Chase, like Chase and South Chase. Part of the community of Krakow is also in the town.

Chase was first set up in 1873 and was called St. Nathans. Its name was changed to Chase in 1890. Long ago, there was a post office in Chase from 1890 to 1907.

There was also a place called the Hillbert Settlement along Highway C. It was never an official town, but it had a cheese factory and several churches. Today, only one Catholic church remains in that area.
