The Chechen Wikipedia (Chechen: Нохчийн Википеди) is the version of Wikipedia written in the Chechen language. It's like a huge online encyclopedia where people can find information about many different topics, all in Chechen.
The Chechen Wikipedia started on February 28, 2005. At first, not many people were adding new articles or making changes. Most of the work was done by computer programs called "bots." Some people were worried because it wasn't very active. However, after discussions in December 2006, it was decided to keep the Chechen Wikipedia going.
Things started to change on February 16, 2013, when the Chechen Wikipedia had 1,604 articles. After a new team of administrators took over, more people began to work on it. By June 6, 2013, the number of articles grew to 2,200. This shows how much a dedicated team can help a project grow!
