- 224 – A big battle called the Battle of Hormozdgan took place. In this battle, Ardashir I won against Artabanus V, which brought an end to the Parthian Empire.
- 357 – Emperor Constantius II visited Rome for the first time. He was celebrating his victory over Magnus Magnentius.
- 1192 – Conrad of Montferrat, who was the King of Jerusalem, was sadly killed in Tyre. This happened just two days after he was officially confirmed as king.
- 1253 – Nichiren, a Japanese Buddhist monk, shared his teachings for the first time. He taught about Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō, which became the main idea of Nichiren Buddhism.
- 1294 – Temür Khan, the grandson of Kublai Khan, was chosen as the leader of the Mongols. His ruling name was Oljeitu.
