- 694 – In Hispania (modern-day Spain and Portugal), a king named Egica made a law that forced Jewish people into slavery.
- 1180 – The Battle of Fujigawa happened in Japan. Minamoto forces, led by Minamoto no Yoritomo, won a night battle against the Taira army near the Fuji River.
- 1277 – The Treaty of Aberconwy was signed, which temporarily ended the Welsh Wars. It was a difficult agreement for Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, forced by King Edward I of England.
- 1313 – Louis the Bavarian won a battle against his cousin Frederick I of Austria at the Battle of Gammelsdorf.
- 1330 – At the Battle of Posada, Basarab I of Wallachia defeated the Hungarian army.
