Ryan Murphy (born November 9, 1965) is an American screenwriter, director, and producer. He is well-known for creating popular television series like Nip/Tuck and Glee. Murphy also created the WB network series Popular, which was on TV from 1999 to 2001.
Murphy went to Warren Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He also studied at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
