Lio Tipton (born November 9, 1988) is an American actor and model. They were formerly known as Analeigh Tipton. Lio is famous for being a contestant on America's Next Top Model. They also played important roles in movies like Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) and Two Night Stand (2014).
In 2021, Tipton shared that they are non-binary. This means they do not identify as only male or female. They use they/them pronouns.

Early Life and Skating
Lio Tipton was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 9, 1988. They started ice skating when they were only two and a half years old. When Tipton was eight, their family moved to Sacramento, California. They went to school in Placerville, California.
Tipton was a talented competitive skater. They competed in four U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships. With their skating partner, Phillip Cooke, they won regional championships twice. They also competed twice at the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships. Tipton stopped competitive skating at age 16. However, they continued to skate in charity shows.
They later attended Marymount California University in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

Modeling Journey
Before joining America's Next Top Model, Tipton worked as a model in Los Angeles. They walked in Los Angeles Fashion Week for designer Kelly Nishimoto.
In 2008, Tipton was a contestant on America's Next Top Model. They were discovered through MySpace and invited to audition. Tipton did very well on the show. They were called first (meaning they had the best photo or performance) twice. One time was for a CoverGirl commercial, which the show's host, Tyra Banks, called the best ever. Tipton also won a challenge by booking all three of their modeling appointments. They were eliminated in the finale after forgetting lines in a commercial.
After the show, Tipton signed with Ford Models in Los Angeles. They also joined Abrams Artists Agency for acting roles. Tipton appeared in magazines like Spain's Marie Claire, Seventeen, and Vogue. They also modeled for brands like Forever 21 and Guess. In 2010, they modeled for Geren Ford and walked in Los Angeles Fashion Week again.
Acting Roles
Tipton started acting in television shows and movies. In 2008, they appeared on The Big Bang Theory. They played a babysitter in the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011). In this film, they had a crush on Steve Carell's character. The New York Times newspaper called Tipton "a face to watch" after this role.
They also had a role in the HBO comedy series Hung. Tipton played a supporting character named Nora in the zombie movie Warm Bodies. They had a small part with Scarlett Johansson in the 2014 science fiction movie Lucy. Tipton's first main role was in the movie Two Night Stand, which came out in 2014.
In 2014, Tipton was a co-lead in the TV comedy series Manhattan Love Story on ABC. In 2018, they appeared on the show Murphy Brown.

In June 2021, Lio Tipton shared that they are non-binary. They use they/them pronouns. Tipton married entertainment executive Chaz Salembier in October 2022.
