Cheetah (comics) facts for kids

The Cheetah is a well-known fictional character from DC Comics. She was created by William Moulton Marston. The Cheetah is often a main enemy of the famous superhero, Wonder Woman.

She is known for her amazing powers! The Cheetah has superhuman speed, super quick reactions, great strength, and can take a lot of damage. She can also smell things much better than a human and can see clearly in the dark.

In 2009, the Cheetah was even named one of the top comic book villains of all time by IGN. You might also know her from the movies! Kristen Wiig played Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva, who becomes the Cheetah, in Wonder Woman 1984. This movie is part of the DC Extended Universe.
