Chelsee Teresa Washington (born November 17, 1997) is an American professional soccer player. She plays as a midfielder, helping her team control the middle of the field.

Early Life and School Soccer
Chelsee was born in Dallas, Texas. She was a fantastic soccer player from a young age. At Hebron High School, she was a top player. She was even named the best midfielder in her district for two years.
When she was a sophomore, Chelsee helped her high school team win a big state championship. She also played for club teams like Solar Chelsea SC and the Dallas Texans SC. She was a key player for these teams for six years.
College Soccer at Bowling Green
Chelsee continued her soccer journey at Bowling Green State University. She played college soccer there from 2016 to 2019. During her time, her team, the Bowling Green Falcons, won two regular season titles. They also won two championships in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.
Chelsee earned many awards herself. In 2019, she was named the Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Year. She was also chosen for the All-MAC First Team in both 2018 and 2019. She was even recognized as one of the best players in her region.
While in college, Chelsee also played for FC Dallas during her off-seasons. She played 14 games and scored one goal for the team.
Becoming a Professional Player
In 2020, Chelsee was chosen by Orlando Pride in the NWSL College Draft. This was a big moment, as she was the first player from her college to be drafted. The COVID-19 pandemic affected her first season.
She signed with Orlando Pride in September 2020. Chelsee made her first professional appearance on September 19, 2020. She played in four matches that fall, showing her skills on the field.
Playing in Australia
In November 2021, Chelsee went to Australia to play for Canberra United. She joined them on a loan for the 2021–22 season. While playing in Australia, she appeared in 13 games. She also scored three goals, which was one of the highest on the team.
After her loan and her contract with Orlando Pride ended, Chelsee left the team in November 2022.
