At the 2000 census there were 4,555 people, 1,524 households, and 1,342 families living in the CDP. The population density was 4,038.2 people per square mile (1,556.4/km2). There were 1,545 housing units at an average density of 1,369.7/sq mi (527.9/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.07% White, 1.19% African American, 0.09% Native American, 1.65% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.94%.
