Chevrolet Malibu facts for kids
The Chevrolet Malibu is a popular car made by General Motors, a big car company. It's known as a "mid-size" car, which means it's not too big and not too small. This car is named after the sunny city of Malibu, California.
Over the years, there have been many different versions of the Malibu, with eight main designs, called "generations." You can find the Chevrolet Malibu for sale in countries like the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and even in the Middle East.

About the Chevrolet Malibu
A Brief History of the Malibu
The Chevrolet Malibu has a long history. Before the Malibu, Chevrolet made cars like the Corsica and Beretta. The Malibu then took their place in 1997. Later, in 1983, the Malibu was replaced by another car called the Chevrolet Celebrity.
Different Versions Over Time
The eighth version, or "generation," of the Malibu was actually a car called the Daewoo Tosca, but with a Chevrolet badge. This happened because General Motors was changing how they used the Daewoo brand.
Looking ahead, a ninth generation of the Malibu was planned for 2016. This newer model was designed to be a bit bigger and look similar to another Chevrolet car, the Impala.
