Chevrolet Spark

The Chevrolet Spark is a small car, perfect for driving in cities. It's made by a big car company called General Motors. This car first came out in 1998. Back then, it was known as the Daewoo Matiz.

How the Spark Started

The car got a new look in 2002. This was its second major version. It started to be sold in many different countries. In these places, it had other names like Chevrolet Joy and Pontiac Matiz.

In 2007, the third version of the car was released. At this time, it was mostly sold as a Chevrolet or a Daewoo.

What Kind of Car Is It?

From the very beginning, the Spark has always been a 5-door hatchback. This means it has four doors for passengers and a back door that lifts up for cargo. It's designed to be a handy and compact car.

The Future of the Spark

General Motors plans to stop making the Spark soon. They will replace it with a new car called the Opel Karl in some parts of the world. However, the Spark name will still be used in the U.S., Korea, and Australia.
