Chiayi County in Taiwan

Chiayi County (Chinese: 嘉義縣; pinyin: Jiāyì Xiàn) is a county in Taiwan. It is in the south-west of the island. It surrounds Chiayi City, but does not include it. The seat of the county's government is in Taibao. Chiayi is the sixth largest county in Taiwan. The National Chung Cheng University is in this county.
