History of Chiclín
At the beginning of the 1900s, a person named Rafael Larco Herrera had a big dream. He wanted to turn the Chiclín farm, known as a hacienda, into a perfect place. He imagined it as a community where everything worked well for everyone.
This special project involved the local community. The Alfonso Ugarte de Chiclín Football Club also played a part in the town's history and development during this time.
