Chiké Okonkwo (born March 18, 1982) is a British actor. He is well-known for playing different characters on TV. Some of his famous roles include PC Clark in New Tricks and Ty Coleman in La Brea. He has also appeared in many films and stage plays.

Early Life and Education
Chiké Okonkwo grew up in Kingston upon Thames, England. His family comes from Nigeria. He went to Tolworth Infants/Juniors School and Southborough High School.
After school, he chose to go to university instead of drama school. He earned a top degree in Business Computing from the University of Surrey in 2003. After finishing his studies, Chiké decided to become a full-time actor.
Acting Career
Chiké Okonkwo started his acting journey in 2001. He was one of only ten actors chosen for the BBC Talent Scheme. This led to his first professional acting role in Holby City. He also trained at the National Youth Theatre. From 1999 to 2002, he was part of the National Youth Music Theatre.
Stage Work
Chiké has performed in many plays. These include Oklahoma!, Into the Woods, and As You Like It. He spent a year at the Royal National Theatre. There, he acted in several shows, including His Dark Materials. He is also a supporter of the International Youth Arts Festival in Kingston.
Chiké is a long-time member of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). He performed in their 50th Anniversary season. In 2013, he was in Julius Caesar in New York.
Film and TV Roles
Chiké Okonkwo has appeared in several films. These include Derailed (2005) and Spirit Trap (2005). He also co-starred in The Birth of a Nation in 2016. This film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival.
On television, Chiké has been a guest star in many popular shows. He appeared in Silent Witness, Casualty, and Roman Mysteries. He played PC Clark in New Tricks and DC Callum Gada in Paradox. He was also a main character, Lee Truitt, in Being Mary Jane. From 2021 to 2024, he played Ty Coleman in the TV series La Brea.
