Chips is a nine-storey building. It was designed by a famous architect named Will Alsop. He was the founder of Alsop Architects. The engineers who made sure the building was strong were Civic Engineers. Tom Bloxham from Urban Splash wanted a building that was not boring. He worked with Will Alsop to create the Chips building.

Buildings like Chips have regular safety checks. These checks make sure everything is safe for the people living there.
