Chirp is a fun animated TV show from America and Canada. It was created by J.J. Johnson. The series is based on the popular children's magazine, Chirp.
The show first aired in the United States on PBS Kids Sprout on September 10, 2016. It also aired on January 25, 2020. This exciting series is all about imagination and adventure!

The TV show Chirp follows three best bird friends: Chirp, Squawk, and Tweet. These clever birds love to use their amazing imaginations. They turn their everyday world into exciting adventures, exploring new places and solving fun challenges together.
Meet the Characters
Get to know the main characters who make Chirp so much fun:
- Chirp is a yellow male bird. He is easy to spot because he always wears cool red boots. Jacob Ewaniuk provides his voice.
- Squawk is a blue male bird. He is one of Chirp's best friends. Adrian David Lloyd is the voice actor for Squawk.
- Tweet is an orange female bird. She has unique purple spots. Brianna D'Aguanno voices Tweet.
- Sparky is a helpful dog. He often gives advice to the birds. Sparky also explains what special items Chirp, Squawk, and Tweet have found. Elana Durtnall is the voice of Sparky.
- The Mail Squirrel is a flying squirrel. This speedy friend delivers packages to Chirp, Squawk, and Tweet. These packages contain useful items for their adventures.
- The Vole Brothers are a pair of voles. They often try to get apples using creative but usually unsuccessful plans.
Where and When Did Chirp Air?
Chirp first premiered in Canada on CBC on March 6, 2015. It also aired on Tiny Pop starting September 14, 2015. Later, it came to JimJam on November 1.
In the United States, the series aired on Qubo Channel from September 25, 2017, until January 29, 2021. It was also shown on Nick Jr. in Canada. Since 2019, a Spanish version of Chirp has been airing on V-me in the United States. You can often catch it at 10:30 in the morning, right after Rob the Robot.
